Simulation of the effects of Zr and Co addition on the properties of NiAl-Mo(Cr) alloy

چکیده
The introduction of computational modelling during alloy development has significantly reduced the cost production and prolonged time spent by researchers doing trials errors in laboratory. In this study, software (JMat Pro) was used to simulate effect addition Zr Co, on material properties NiAl-Mo(Cr) such as elastic modulus, hardness, thermal conductivity, bulk modulus specific heat capacity. A significant improvement mechanical observed developed alloys compared those without Co. Also, low 0.5 at. % 1.0 Co NiAl-Cr(Mo) resulted improved compressive strength plasticity alloy.
